In 1975 L.D. Shoffner introduced the brand new world of videotaping skiers on the slopes of Mt. Werner and then showing them back during apres ski at the local watering hole known as "Cassidys", owned by Bill Gardner (founder of the Butcher Shop restaurant) and located at the base of the Gondola. First known as the "Green Bagel", Cassidys later became "Faces" nightclub and then the "Inferno". The non-winter of 1976-'77 brought no snow to the Rocky Mountains and in 1978 L.D. joined forces with the Ski Corp. at the Steamboat Village Inn and brought a COLOR video tape camera w/recorder and a NEW Advent 6ft. projection TV for the apres ski show.
